Interests:

I enjoy many outdoor activities including camping, backpacking, mountaineering, biking and boating.  My greatest memories of outdoor activities include anything I did with my family growing up.  I have run two marathons, one of which was with my mom and dad and siblings.  I also enjoy helping others see their true potential in any aspect of life.

Comments on MHYR:

I feel truly blessed to work where I do.  It is a unique experience to meet students at the beginning of their program and see the positive changes that take place during their stay.  I attend graduations where students and parents reunite and it’s not unusual to hear the students thank their parents for sending them to MHYR.  I believe the reason wilderness programs are so successful is because of the natural, quiet setting to which the students are exposed.  Nature has its way of humbling almost anyone.
