Professional Work Experience:

• Clinical experience with most Mental Health and Substance Abuse Diagnosis. The main focus has been with individuals with substance abuse issues, mood disorders, and oppositional defiance issues.
• Do part time clinical work at a local mental health agency in Roosevelt, Utah.
  
• Extensive experience working with youth as a counselor, leader, and mentor.

Interests:

My main interest is people. I am a very social person, who likes to learn, enjoy, and help the people in my own personal world.  I am a very cognitive based individual/ therapist. I think by understanding how we as individuals’ process the world then that will allow us to create our own successful environment.

MHYR is a great place for youth to escape the complex world that they live in and to learn the necessary emotional and physical skills needed to survive and thrive in any environment. These skills then are translated to home and community life once graduating the program.
