Dr. Phil on MHYR
Our program appeared on the Dr. Phil Show in December, 2002. Rob Caldwell (MHYR Clinical Director) traveled to Los Angeles, and while on the show met a young adult who was a featured guest. MHYR accepted the young man into our adult program (Ashley Valley Wilderness) for 18-25 year olds.Dr. Phil indicated on his show that he had asked his staff to find the best program they could in the United States for troubled teens and young adults, and that they had recommended Mountain Homes Youth Ranch. The young adult left the show and immediately entered into our program.
Dr. Phil has also referred other students to MHYR.
